Cover: Mr. Timothy Seow of Seow, Lee Heah & Partners, Singapore, has taken a giant step away from egg-crate designs for apartment blocks with his plans for 'Futura' a 25-storey luxury apartments development near Orchard Road. Al- though the building appears somewhat fanciful and jagged in shape, it is in fact a composition of a series of geometric and controlled masses. Concrete cores are in- terlinked by glass walls which abut only at a tangent to eliminate acute or odd an- gular junctions.
