A NEW ONE PIECE STEEL COLUMN
FOR GROUP 'B' LIGHTING
The Venus is a square-section column manufactured from steel and heavily coated with zinc by the hot-dip galvanising process to give a finish renowned for its durability. It conforms with B.S. 1840:1960. Standard heights are 12 ft and 14 ft above ground with 2 ft 6 in below ground.
The 14 ft column weighs only 87 lb and can be erected easily with- out lifting appliances.
Single or double brackets for pendant or side entry lanterns can be provided.
The base compartment is large enough for all normal auxiliaries and has a flush fitting, lift-out door. Inside is fitted a wooden baseboard with earthing terminal. As a preparation for painting, the columns can be supplied phosphated if required.
