Permanent buildings at the Asian Trade Fair
Much of the US$4.5 million cost of developing 200 acres at Hua Mak, near Bangkok, as the venue for the First Asian International Trade Fair (Nov. 17 to Dec. 10) has been spent on the erection of permanent buildings on the site to serve Bangkok's future national and interna. tional events. There are six permanent buildings: The International Hall, Thai Hall, Hall of Nations, Auditorium, Administrative Offices and Circle Cafe and Restaurant. All have been designed by architects of the Royal Irrigation Department, Thailand, under the supervision of the co-ordinating architect, Mr. Chamlong Yordying.
