two mirror reflector type fluorescent fittings for every modular bay. The level of illumination can be selected from 30 to 60, or 90 foot candles by using one, two or three tubes on each fitting.

A broadcasting system is installed throughout the building with conceal- ed speaker units fitted in the entrance lobby and in the corridors.

The total cost of the building, was approximately HK$40 million.

Ahong Construction Co. (HK) Ltd., was the main contractor. Piling and

foundation work was carried out by Franki Piling & Engineering Co. (HK) Ltd. The steel framework was supplied by Redpath Brown & Co. Ltd., UK, and erected by Steel Structures, Ltd.
