The organisation, Building Products Worldwide, will allow an overseas buyer to deal with only one firm which will arrange delivery, including trans- port to the docks, shipment, insurance and pay- ment. 23,000 air-conditioners in trade centre
Exterior offices in the two 110-storey towers of the World Trade Centre in New York, which will
be the world's tallest buildings when completed in
1972, will be air-conditioned by more than 23,000 under-window induction units.
The Carrier Weathermaster units will discharge a total of over 5 million cu.ft. of conditioned air every minute to maintain year-round climate con- trol in the offices. They will carry chilled water for cooling in the summer and warm water for
heating during the winter, and will automatically provide separate room temperature to meet in- dividual needs.
