This new cinema will be situated in the Causeway Bay district of Hong Kong, at the junction of Jardine's Bazaar and a new public road. As a result of good and economical planning, the architects have managed to provide accommo- dation for 1,450 people on a site of 5.800 square feet. The auditorium will be air-conditioned.

ATRE

The perspective sketch shows the simple and pleasing treatment of the elevations and the corner feature, contain- ing the staircase. Poster display is well handled and a small shop, adjoining the entrance foyer, is incorporated in the design.

Messrs. Chau & Lee are the architects for this project.
