The interior has been finished quite plainly, with only a modicum of moulding to the ground floor ceilings and a pair of columns between the principal drawing room areas carrying out the spirit of the design.

The planning of the house itself is quite simple and of formal arrangement. Practically the entire ground floor area is, in effect, one large L-shaped room, separated into living and dining room areas by wide full height arched openings. which suggest rather than effect the divisions. A large entrance hall, stairhall and pantry, with guest lavatory off the stairhall, are the only other amenities provided in this floor.

The upper floor contains five bedrooms surrounding the central hall, with three bathrooms and built-in clothes cupboards in each bedroom.

The house being placed well to the southernmost end of the site, there is an extensive garden area to the north of the the building. This area has been laid out as a formal garden, which supplements the character of the building and fulfils the spirit of the design. It is set out on three different levels to as regular a geometrical pattern as the shape of the site will allow, each terrace being surrounded by low balustrades of the same design as that used for the house.
