Construction work on the New Power Station for the China Light & Power Co., Ltd. at Hok-Un, is proceed- ing at a rapid rate. It has now reached the stage where the structural work is nearing final stages of completion. At the present time equipment is being installed.
In this issue we publish a few illustrations which shows the stage of construction which has now been reached and we hope in the next and subsequent issues to produce a complete record of the development of the China Light & Power Company and give complete details
of the New Power Station.
The Engineer for the project is S. E. Faber, Esq., and the General Contractors are the Hong Kong Engin- eering & Construction Co., Ltd.
Full details of the materials and equipment together with the names of the suppliers will appear in our next issue.
