The structural construction is of reinforced concrete throughout. The multi-storey structure contains trans- verse beams at 20 ft. centres with openings in the beams for the longitudinal air-condition duct work and small secondary longitudinal beams at 5 ft. centres supporting the 2 in. thick concrete floor. The infil panels are of either hollow con- crete block or light weight concrete.

The finish to the canteen is mosaic tile and wood parquet floor with decorated plastic to walls. The of fices have vinyl floors with a cir-

culation area and stairs of mosaic.

The Post Office contains terrazzo. wood parquet, vinyl and decorated inter-play tiles, thick panelling. anodised aluminium facings and louvres. All main doors and screens are of aluminium.
