Architects, Members of the Council of the University of Hong Kong, and patrons and representatives of the Arts, whilst more than 1000 people visited the exhibition during its three days showing.

The Degree Examinations for 1957 have come and gone, and results have been published as follows:-

Eleven candidates who sat for the Final Examination have been recom- mended for the degree of Bachelor of Architecture, three of them with second class honours.

The results are subject to the ap- proval of the Senate.

The cleven candidates are Chau Ho-ming (second class honours), Ip Iu-pong (second class honours), Mak Shiu-kwong (second class honours), Lam Ching-wo, Alice Lam See-him,

In the Intermediate Examination, the following satisfied the examiners in all subjects: Stephen Chung Yen- wei, Wong Chee-kui, Wong Sze-Ip. and Yu Nik-sing.

The following satisfied the examin ers in the referred subject: Cedric Wang Shao-wu Building Construction I, Tan Hock Meng (Building Con- struction II), and Fanny Chan Yee- fun (Building Construction II).

The external examiner for this year was Mr. J. C. Charter, A.A.Ďip.. A.R.I.B.A.: Acting Chief Architect at the Public Works Department.

At the German Industries Fair, to be held in Berlin from September 14 to 29 this year, a pavilion sponsored by H.M. Foreign Office and produced
