The main feature of the north wing is a fine modern gymnasium at the basement level and extending up through the ground floor. Also in this basement are locker rooms. One of the bathrooms is complete changing rooms, showers and toilets with bath, wash-basin and water for both boys and girls, and a large closet; of the other two, one has a closet for equipment. The gym- shower. wash-basin and water closet, nasium may be entered by a stair- and the other a bath and basin. Construction is of reinforced con- crete framing with brick panel and partition walls. and ribbed and hol- low tile floors. There is five-ply as- phalt waterproofing to the basement. The roof is finished with one course of cement tiles covered with five-ply asphalt roofing.
The building is finished externally mainly with cement plaster and "Snowcem": parts of the external walls are covered with facing tiles.
Floors are mainly of teak parquet or asphalt tiles with service rooms. toilets, balconies, stairs and corri- dors finished in mosaic tiles or quarry tiles.
The building is distinctly divided up externally into its three main elements.
