This new building will serve Chung Chi until Chung Chi has its own campus. After that it may be used for a time as the Theological Department of Chung Chi, until, perhaps 100 years from now, the Christian Churches in Hong Kong are so strong that each church will need its own theological training college.

The

Site formation work has been kept down to a minimum and the build- ing follows fairly closely the contours of the ground, which slopes steeply down from south-west to north-east and from south-east to north-west.

The building, which has been con- verted, consists of a classroom and tollets on the ground floor, both with access from the playground, and а girl students' recess room and two teachers' offices on the first floor; the second floor contains one large physics laboratory. There is hori- zontal communication between part of the building and the new structure at the ground floor level cnly, the upper floors being reached by staircases in the separate sections.
