After doddering along for many years in an old in this article is now being built. ramshackle wooden hut as their clubhouse, the Central British Association considered seriously the question of replacing it with a structure more worthy of the Association. However, nothing was done about it until the old shack was destroyed in a typhoon and it became a pressing necessity to make an immediate decision concerning the construction of the new clubhouse. Fortunately for the Association their energetic and ambitious Honorary Secretary, Mr. J. King, together with a few enterprising members decided that it was worth making an effort to build a permanent clubhouse of which they need not be ashamed.
The design covers all the normal activities of a sporting club, even though on a rather restricted scale.

Since finances were definitely limited they obtained the advice of Concrete Products Limited, who furnished them with a design and estimate which met with their entire approval, and as a result the clubhouse illustrated

Flanking the left hand side of the Clubroom is the
Bar and the Men's Dressing Room, while on the opposite side are situated the Ladies' Dressing Room, Committee Room and Boys' Room.
The building will be completed before the end of November and will undoubtedly fully represent the youth and spirit of the Club and be well worthy of the ideals of good fellowship and sportsmanship to which the Central British Association aspires.
