Newest residence on Repulse Bay Road.
Leaving Stanley Peninsula and continuing along the Island Road, we pass through Repulse Bay along the north shores of which a rather
interesting new development is mooted, but of
which no detail has as yet been released.
The section between Repulse Bay and Wong Nei Chong Gap has been the scene of a very active development during the past year. The newest house completed is for Mr. Albert Ray-
mond on R.B.L. 407.
Finally, proceeding down Wong Nei Chong to the junction of Stubbs Road and Tai Hang Road, a new imposing residence
for a wealthy Chinese is in
the final stage of completion.
The Contractors for this job
are Messrs. Wang Tak & Co.
and the Architect is Fung Tsun,
Esq.

On the final stage of our
tour we turned down Tai Hang
SOC
Road and from a vantage
point of this road the amazing
development which has taken
place at the head of Blue Pool
Road can be seen below. This
area two years ago was but a squatter's paradise, and yet today blocks of flats, detached
and semi-detached houses, have
been completed and occupied,
others are in final stages of completion while still another huge development for Messrs. Eu Tong Sen Ltd. necessita-
ting considerable retaining wall
work has been well and truly
started. This last development
is in the hands of Messrs.
Davies, Brooke & Gran, the
general contractors being Messrs. Sang Hop Construction
Co.
