The clubhouse which is the focal point of entertainment recreation in the camp has been supplied with a wide range of sports equipment. For the preparation and servic- ing of refreshments a fully equipped kitchen forms part of the amenities.
Water-borne sanitation is provided with a purification plant as part of the disposal unit. There is mains water but unfortunately electricity is too remote at present for connection to be made, so that cooking, refrigeration and lighting is by kerosene oil.
The whole scheme including services, layout, furniture fittings and pagar cost approximately Straits $160,000.00 and the Camp is proving very popular particularly at week- ends when the occupants, their relatives and friends can spend a day beside the sea.
