to make way for the more economic exploitation of this valuable property and in their place yet another of Kow- loon's new "skyscrapers" will soon rise the new Alhambra Building.
The new structure will occupy the entire corner block. It will have a frontage of nearly 200 ft. along Nathan Road and just under 128 ft. along Kansu Street. These will be taken
up by modern shops. In addition the three lower floors will contain shopping arcades. Provision has been made for a run-in from Kansu Street giving access to a fairly large loading and unloading yard within the build- ing.
There will be two entrances off Nathan Road, both connecting with a long transverse arcade running through the middle of the ground floor
