A recent addition to the list of Hongkong's authorized architects is Mr. Wong Hong-Yuen, some of whose interesting achievements and current projects we depict on these pages.

Mr. Wong was born in Canton and graduated from the Chiao Tung Uni- versity with his first degree of B. Sc. in 1945. Thereafter he went into prac- tice and succeeded a year later in winning first prize in an open chitectural competition with his design. for the Kwangtung Provincial As- seinbly Hall (Fig. A). Secking wider experience he went abroad to study and in 1949 obtained his second de- gree of M. Sc. from Michigan State University.
