This is the new Malayan $5.7 million office building of the American Interna- tional Insurance Co. at the corner of Robinson Road and Telegraph Street in the heart of Singapore's business centre.

Two years of intensive construction work by the general contractors, Messrs. Paul Y. Construction Co. resulted in A. I. A's ultra-modern skyscraper in Singapore. Twelve stories high, sheathed in alumi nium with eye-catching louvres, the American International Building is certainly an imposing addition to Singapore's thrust- ing skyline.
