There are 128 small flats located mainly on the lower levels, with the exception of three blocks of semi- detached houses (24 flats) which are sited at the south-west corner of the site and possess an excellent view of the harbour. Each of these flats con- sists of a living room, three bedrooms, one bathroom and a kitchen. They are also provided with a 4'-6" by 13'-0" front balcony and a 3'-0" wide rear balcony for washing and drying. The floor area of each "B" flat is 840 square feet.
Due to the slow progress of the site formation, the completion of the buildings was considerably delayed. Work on the "B" type flats was coin- menced in July 1955, and on the "A"
