Speeding the job

LILLINGTONS No. 1 METALLIC LIQUID

is a rapid hardener and at the same time produces a waterproof, hardwearing and dust- less concrete. These properties were utilised to the full in the construction of aerodromes and Government factories during the war.

The use

of Lillington's No. 1 Metallic Liquid enabled Service vehicles to carry supplies over the previous day's concreting, thus speeding the job considerably.

Exhaustive tests have proved conclusively that the crushing strength of concrete is permanently increased by no less than 33-1/3% by the admixture of Lillington's No. 1 Metallic Liquid.

The resulting concrete is dust-proof as well as completely waterproof and capable of withstanding water pressure. Lillington's No. 1 Metallic Liquid is added to the gauging water when mixing the cement and aggregate, so that even penetration and effectiveness throughout the concrete is assured. The plasticity of concrete is greatly increased and a workable mix is obtained with 10% to 15% less water.
