The Training Centre is a positive step by employers, but more will have to be done. The building industry is suffering from a definite shortage of skilled labour.

When this boy completes his year's schooling it is hoped, like most other pupils, that he will be able to get his initial employment on a Government low-cost housing project. There, because of the straightforward nature of cons- truction, he would be able to get a confident grounding in his work.
