are compact, robustly made and have a remarkably high output for their size. Their light weight and portability make them highly mobile units. Now being widely used industrially, their dependable performance and economical running cut costs wherever they are installed.
The important feature of the equipment is the actual com- pressor (seen at right) which consists of two helical fluted intermeshing rotors mounted within one casing. Frictional resistance is reduced to a minimum and high efficiency is maintained in a single stage by the use of oil as a cooling and sealing medium.
