While there is no lack of recreative facilities in Hong

Kong, as there are numerous clubs catering to every form

of sport, during the daylight hours, there is a decided grouse amongst the Colony's residents of the lack of variety in entertainment and relaxation after darkness

sets in. It was as a step to making up this deficiency

that the "Ritz" was built and recently opened.

Situated on a large area of ground on the waterfront

at Quarry Bay, the "Ritz" offers facilities for swimming

and boating, dancing, dining and miniature golf, all of

which can be indulged in at night as well as during the day.
