The intricate decorative

features are typical of the finish of the whole house,

covered with valuable Chinese scrolls, tapestries and

pictures. The Chinese love and appreciation of plant life

is embodied in the arrangement of potted plants placed

in porcelain and metal containers of truly Chinese design

which heightens and emphasizes the national character

of this beautiful room.

On the first floor are to be found the principal and

subsidiary bedrooms. These bedrooms have been fur-

nished to suit the taste of individual occupants, but the

bathrooms adjoining each bedroom is the last word in

extravagantly modern bathroom design. Each bathroom

has been designed of a different colour and different

colour combination and the fixtures and fittings have

been carefully chosen and placed to provide the utmost in
