Cover: Hong Kong's longest prestressed road bridge crosses Laichikok Bay, Kow- loon on thirteen 93 ft. spans and fifteen 63 ft. spans. It carries dual 33 ft. wide carriageways to form an essential link in the new low-level coastal road constructed to link the city of Kowloon with the deve loping new towns in the New Territories. The deck is of composite beam-and-slab construction, simply supported on rigid reinforced concrete frames, each consisting of circular columns and an inverted T cap- ing beam. Scott Wilson, Kirkpatrick and Partners are the consulting engineers.
