PROBLEMS OF
SITE: BONHAM
RD. BUILDING
Architect: Ng Yook-Man, B. Arch.
To save costs on a site which has a 40 ft. difference in levels, stepped construction is being employed for a new apartment block at the junction of Bonham Road and High Street, Hong Kong.
An 11-storey building, it is to be built for Yue Wan Estates. Construc- tion will occupy about 18 months. Mr. Ng Yook-Man is the architect.
Minor cutting has been made to form the site into four steps.

Planned for high class accommoda- tion, the block will consist of 10 domestic storeys, and the garage. The site is approached by two roads, Bonham Road on the upper level, and Hospital Road on the lower one. Because of traffic objections, there
