The top, or eighth, floor is occupi- ed by two apartments providing similar accommodation to those on the lower floors. However, their lay- out is more attractive and the rooms are larger. with terraces formed by the flat roofs of the flats below.

Construction is of reinforced con- crete with brick panel and partition walls, and steel windows and doors. Floors to principal rooms and corri- dors are teak parquet: verandahs, stairs, kitchens and bathrooms have white or coloured mosaic tile floors.

Two self-operated lifts provide vertical circulation; in addition, there is a main staircase adjoining the lift lobby and a service staircase at the back of the building. The apartments will be sold for prices ranging from $53.000, and payment will, when desired, be accepted on the instalment system during construc- tion.
