A basement under the north-eastern part of the bedroom wing is accessible from the outside and forms a garden and general store. There is a paved car park kitchen for approximately 40 cars between the service hotel and the road. and further public parking space available opposite the Hotel.

The building is of conventional con- struction with а reinforced concrete frame, flat roofs. brick panel walls and steel windows. External finishes are of plaster coloured with Snowcem. with a

certain amount of natural stonework at the ground floor level near the entrance. The plastered walls are finished external- ly with off-white colour to the bedroom wing, light green to the dining room and brown to the balconies. Internal finishes consist of teak parquet floors and plaster- ed walls to public rooms and bedrooms. The walls, though colour washed at pre- sent, will eventually have plastic emul sion paints applied when the building completely dries out. The kitchen and bathrooms have tiled floors and walls, with different colour combinations for the bathrooms.
