Floors are mainly of asphalt tiles, but ceramic mosaic floors are used on the staircases and in the changing rooms, the biology room, lavatories, and entrance hall. The assembly hall has a sprung floor of teak strips, while the stage has also a wooden floor of Oregon Pine strips. Teak parquet flooring is used in the stage rest room, the P.T. instructor's room, the headmistress' room and the handi- work room.
Mr. P.Y.Y. Lam of the Architectural Office of the Public Works Depart- ment was responsible for the design; the Clerk of Works was Mr. E. Spencer, and the Quantity Surveyor was Mr. A.W.S. Smith, A.R.L.C.S.
