therefore a more economical cover than the reinforced concrete roof normally used in Hong Kong. The pitching of the roof adds height to the building which can thus be designed with much lower ceiling heights than we are accustomed to, without sacrificing the proportions
or marring the appearance of the building.
Mr. Berkovits's experience and knowledge of these constructions has enabled him to take advantage of these factors to produce buildings which are examples of good taste and economical planning.
