The dining room and sitting room are planned on either side of a hall running from the entrance front. through to the garden verandah, with both these principal rooms opening on to the verandah and the garden, giving a circulating zone for groups of guests and visitors. On the north-west side of the ground floor is a study opening off the hall, with a private verandah leading to a terrace and the garden.
