No exposed beams mark the interior ceilings, which are carried out in rib construction filled with hollow blocks. General construction of the apartments is in reinforced concrete, beam and pillar to the first floor and sheer wall above, giving cross bracing. The whole building will be faced with mosaic tiling.
It is expected that the block will be completed before Christmas at a cost of approximately $1,700.000. Plains are in hand for two more apartment blocks on the site which stretches to the south and east of the block now being erected
