Three modern up-to-date godowns, of which one is
illustrated above, were recently completed for the Hong Kong & Whampoa Dock Co., Ltd. Mr. S. E. Faber,
A.F.C., M.Inst., C.E. was the Engineer. Marsman Hong

Kong China Ltd. were the General Contractors for two
of them while Hong Kong Engineering Construction Co.,
Ltd. were the General Contractors for the third one.
Reiss, Bradley & Co., Ltd. supplied to the General
Contractors for the buildings

installed the Automatic Sprink-
ler and Hydrant Systems. Jar-
dine Engineering Corp., Ltd.
did the electrical installation
including all fixtures for the first godown, while China En- gineers, Ltd. did the electrical installation for the other two
godowns. The freight and pas- senger lifts used in these go- downs were supplied and install- ed by the Otis Elevator Co.
