In pursuance with our policy of obtaining and record- ing all news and information in connection with building construction and land and building sales in Hong Kong, we are commencing with this issue the recording of all sales of land, buildings and estates, taken from the records of the Land Office, Hong Kong. This feature, we feel, will prove of exceptional interest and will provide a valuable source of information concerning the real estate market in Hong Kong. With this issue we are commencing with

November, 1948, and in subsequent issues we shall carry these records in consecutive order, thus providing a con- tinuous record for reference.

This list, together with the Crown Land Sales, form a complete record of property transactions in Hong Kong. We hope solicitors, banks, real estate firms and land investment and building companies especially will find this feature of value.
