PEAK PAVILION FLATS Built By The Architectural Department
of The P.W.D.
The illustrations on this page are of the block of flats on Mount Kellett Road recently completed by the Architec- tural Office of the Hong Kong Public Works Department. Built to the same plans as the Leighton Hill Flats and utilising the same concrete forms, there is little we can add to the description of the buildings published in our previous issue.
The site was one which was originally occupied by one detached house and a pavilion which was used as a vacation residence during the summer by Government servants. The present structure provides living quarters for eleven families.
The China Construction Co., Ltd. were the General Contractors for this building as well as for the Leighton Hill Flats.
