A cruciform design has been em-

ployed for a big new co-opera- tive housing estate for lower income Government servants in Hong Kong.

The excellent result of this plan- ning is that, despite a great differ- ence in levels and a narrow site, precisely equal amenities as to win-

dow area, ventilation, and lighting have been afforded to every one of the 100 apartments in the estate.
