Due to open shortly are the Park, Ambassador and Imperial Hotels - all planned to take advantage of every new development in construction and equipment.
Outstanding is the fact that Worthing- ton Air-Conditioning will be installed in all three hotels, as the Worthington system was judged the most efficient and dependable by both architects and operators.
The Park Hotel and the Ambassador Hotel will employ Worthington's newest-the Centrifugal chilled water type system. By coupling basement and roof-top installations of 600 h.p. capacity, chilled water (or hot water) will be circulated through each of the central station handling units and fan-coil units throughout the hotels. Each room is equipped with a Worthington fan-coil unit, allowing of Individual temperature control, summer and winter. The Worthington Centrifugal system is designed for year-round operation to provide cooling, heating, de-humidification, ventilation, filtration and air circulation.
Total plant capacity for the new Imperial Hotel is 210 tons refrigeration, using the highly effective Worthington Reciprocating Air-Conditioning plant.
