will contain five apartments. in all there will be twenty-two flats on five residential floors; one 4-bedroom flat and two 3-bedroom flats on the ground floor: one 4-bedroom, two 3- bedroom and one 2-bedroom flats on the first floor; and four 3-bedroom and one 2-bedroom flats on each of the three top floors.
Each flat will contain a living/din- ing room combination with a well- planned kitchen adjacent to it, and the smaller apartments will have one bathroom conveniently located and easily accessible from the bedrooms.
The key of the whole planning is the setting of two lift halls and two open areas in the centre of the block. the larger lift hall providing access to three apartments on each floor and the smaller lift hall access to two apartments. Around the open areas are grouped kitchens and service rooms. The main entrance being in the centre of the building in the basement, waste space for entrance halls and entrance corridors is en- tirely eliminated.
Three apartments will face Stubbs Road and will have large balconies extending the full width of each apartment, whilst two apartments at the back will overlook the hills and will have balconies extending the full width of the living rooms.
