lift halls have walls finished in marble. Floors are mainly of teak parquet, except for those in the lift halls and the lavatories, which, together with the staircases, are tiled. The workshop occupying the rear section of the ground floor has been left with a cement rendered surface.

The columns in the front section of each floor are circular and fluted on plan; those at the rear are rectan- gular.
