"SUPERLATIVE”
Paint was employed
originally for one of the most exacting tasks
a paint could be called upon to do. It was to
provide the tough, vital, finishing coat for
DAMPNEY'S THREE-COAT TREATMENT,
the famous bridge painting system which
revolutionised the protection of exposed iron
and steel structures, valued at millions of
pounds, in all parts of the world. Its
durability is a byword. The hard, mirror-
smooth gloss of "SUPERLATIVE" Paint is
generally expected to give a minimum of 7
years protection even in the worst industrial
atmospheres. It will not peel or crack; it is
completely water and weather resistant, and
will provide satisfactory service under any
climatic conditions. One gallon of "SUPER-
LATIVE" Paint covers about 80 square
yards. It can be specified with confidence
for the best inside or outside work.
