Thus with the exception of 1961 and March 1964 the pattern is fairly uniform and in the case of the latter month there is the tremendous ac-
pre- cretion of new premises in the vious two months when one-third of all those inspected became available. It may also be worth remembering that the rapid initial occupation rate in 1961 was
accompanied by the "rental spiral "*
