NO MIXING NEEDED

PRC Rubber Calk 5000 eliminates the need for mixing equipment, time-loss and the uncertainties of obtaining a uniform mix on the job. This new one-part, polysulfide base (Thiokol*) calking compound is ready for use as packaged. It is applied easily by calking gun, putty knife or spatula, and cures to a firm, flexible rubber with excellent adhesive properties. LONG-TERM PERFORMANCE: Unlike Conventional Calking Compounds, PRC Rubber Calk 5000 will not dry out and

crack in a relatively short period of time. It will retain adhesion and elasticity in all weather extremes to provide years of trouble free service.

SUGGESTED APPLICATIONS:

MASONRY

• In place of mortar between tile and concrete, concrete and metal, or other dissimilar materials. (This will eliminate the problems of cracking in mortar when used between materials which have different coefficients of expansion.)

• Calking section joints in tilt-up construction

• Sealing pre-cast facings

• Calking marble facings

• Sealing water reservoir expansion joints

• Sealing concrete conduit

Sealing openings for plumbing fixtures

METAL

Calking joints where metal tanks, bins, etc. are set in concrete

• Sealing joints where wood frames, covers, etc. adjoin metal

WOOD

• Wood sash glazing

•

Sealing joints where wood adjoins metal or masonry

To obtain maximum adhesion, on applications involving prolonged

water immersion, the following primers are recommended:

• FOR MASONRY – PRC Primer #1

• FOR WOOD – PRC Primer #2
