FIRST FLOOR PLAN

The south front has been planned to give the fullest possible enjoyment of an attractive garden which falls away slightly from the level of the house. An important feature is the existence of two wind-screen and sun-trap walls built out at right angles at each end of the garden front.

The exterior walls are of 11-inch cavity brickwork with an outer finish of cement rendering. The long window to the right of the front entrance gives daylight to the staircase. Guttering and down-pipes are painted cream to tone with the walls, and the exterior scheme is completed with metal casements in grey-blue.
