Worthington ensures comfort for Miramar Arcade Shoppers, all-year- round temperature control for guests in the Miramar Hotel 7-storey Annexe.
Inge Modern Shopping Block, Worthington Central Plan Air Condi- tioning has been chosen. This is of the direct type. Two Freon-22 compressors delivering 140 tons refrigeration distribute cool air to 20 shops. At the same time, recirculating exhaust fans ensure that 100% fresh air supply is maintained. Throughout the Miramar Arcade, room temperature is automatically regulated.
In the Miramar Hotel Annexe, a Worthington Central Plan chilled water system has been selected to give year-round comfort. Each hotel bedroom is equipped with a fan coil unit producing individual temper. ature control, the plant being designed to provide cooling, heating, dehumidification, ventilation, filtration and circulation.
Two separate and independent water chillers with a cooling capacity of 180 tons re- frigeration are installed for flexible and economical operation - for winter heating, hot water is used.
