NOVERNMENT servants, mainly from the Medical Department, have joined together to form the Valley View Co-operative Society Ltd. which is the moving force be hind the two blocks of Valley View, IL7745 Wongneichong Gap Road. Hong Kong, work on which will begin this month provided that facilities for dumping in the new central reclamation are opened by then.

The site is a steep one, involving the building of a fairly difficult approach road from the main road. and preparation for the erection of the two blocks of flats will involve cutting and filling and the removal of a number of large boulders. Site formation work will cost in the neighbourhood of $250,000.

One of the two blocks will be of seven storeys over a car park and the other of eight storeys over a car park. This will allow for thirty flats, each planned alike to give three bedrooms (15 feet 6 inches by 14 feet 6 inches), a dining room (15
