G.E.C. LIGHTS

TAMAR

BRIDGE

England's largest and newest suspension bridge-and its approaches—are lit by G.E.C. lanterns equipped with Osram 200w linear sodium lamps. They were chosen for their combination of aesthetic

appearance and efficient performance, and because of G.E.C. 'know-how' in

all types of public lighting.

The new bridge across the River Tamar between Devon and Cornwall: 1,848 feet long, opened to traffic October 24th.
