Cover: A ribbed reinforced concrete floor element being positioned on the Jalan Pekitiling site, Kuala Lumpur, where Gam- Larsen & Nielsen, a consortium of Malaysian and Danish contractors, are building 3,009 dwelling units for the municipality by industrialised methods. The precast components are produced in a factory ten miles from the site, trans- ported by road trailer and placed by tower crane. A rate of production of 800 homes in four months has been achieved on the project which is due for completion in March.
