Hong Kong Builder
Two views of the entrance foyer illustrating the tasteful combination of the various types of marble.
It is entirely panelled in alternating slabs of Bot- ticino and Chiampo Perla marbles with Belgian black skirtings and cappings, the floors and steps are in Carrara white and Belgian black surrounds and strips, the Ticket Boxes of modernistic design decorated with black marble pilasters and simple bronze grilles. The columns to the entrance to the stalls are in Venetian vitreous mosaic bright red in colour in striking contrast to the black mar- ble framing.
