- a six-storey block for garment manufacture.

The building consists of three major compartments

worsted weaving, dyeing, and cotton weaving.

Sanitary and other facilities, in- cluding water tanks, are centralised at the rear of the middle compart- ment so as to give direct and im mediate access to all parts of the factory.

The building is a single-storey, reinforced concrete structure resting on "Pressure" piles. All column spacings are 20 ft. by 16 ft. They are flexible for future extension and alteration. All walls are in brick.

The exterior of the building is painted with "Snowcem", and there is no other finish.
