An important feature of these versatile valves is the Crane composition disc which is easily removed for renewal. When equipped with a suitable disc these well proportioned valves are recommended for a wide range of services-steam and hot water lines as

well as cold services such as water, oil, gas and air. They can also be specially packed for petrol service and in all cases can be repacked under pressure.

The bonnet is screwed into the body with a right-

hand thread which, with the shoulder joint, secures

tightness when the valve is subjected to its maximum working pressures or pipe line stresses.

Screwed or Flanged valves are available. (Screwed British Standard Taper Threads-or to American Standards. Flanged in accordance with British

Standard Tables 'D' and 'E' diameters or to

American Standards.)

VALVES OF BRONZE, CAST IRON AND CAST STEEL

WORKING PRESSURES: Screwed, saturated steam up to 125 pounds. Cold services up to 200 pounds.

The Crane Renewable Disc Check Valve is recommended for use with all these valves.
